I would recommend this jdrama to all Gokusen and Hana Kimi fans. Though the characters begin to move in separate directions at the end of the show and the main conflicts have been largely solved, I sense that a second season is possibly in the works. Her relationship with Tamaki, though, makes sense and is my personal favorite. She winds up enrolling in a technical high school called Kenritsu Asuka Kougyou Koukou, also known by the nickname “Asukou. What brings Asuko March! It was so fun. Aruto and Nao were tried but the chemistry between Tamaki and Nao was definitely better and they are just so much sweeter together!

I will watch at Christmas vacation: The presentation of the setting and characters are fairly typical of a live action school drama, with boys who over-act their toughness and those in love incapable of voicing their affections. She is the female lead. Now that I think about it, Tamaki does have a playful side that pops out mardh now and then, like when he cross dresses to help Yoshino fool her mom. I also thought Tamaki worked better with his facial expressions and reactions; since Aruto is classically pretty, I thought a majority of his pensive and caring expressions forced.
She never cares about herself and is always thinking about the others. Acted out by Takei Emi, the marcy is wholesome and always well-meaning, though the results of her intentions are not always favorable. Nao and Tamaki would make a really good couple and I agree on all your points when you talk about the male love interests. This live action is a bit of a cross between the J-dramas Hanazakari no Kimitachi e and Gokusenand certainly stands its ground as one of my more recently enjoyed school dramas.

It is really a great Drama. Tori pulls this off extremely well, with his confidence and charismatic presence. Also her Grandpa was the asuuko. They, too, are new actors for me, and I find them delightful eye candy. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this Drama.
