I also want to be a part of army. And then these girls have their stories. The girl I liked most in the novel was not Haya, its DJ. Of course, I loved that said character then but the more I thought about it, the more I ran away from it and decided to rate it lower. I mean it maybe right for routine issues but the kind that she got stuck in she should’ve mentioned it to her brother or father. At the start i was very confused about the major ahmed and then ARP but the story catched my interest immedi Jannat ky patay idk from where to start but this novel is beyond my expectations. I don’t know why. Apno ko tang krny ka maza hi alag hy islia Haya aur Jihan ak dosry ko bht tang krty thy.
Because keeping secrets is an art and not everyone knows it! Meri dost apny czn ko pasand krti hy aur wo bht handsome hy. No one changes so drastically in such a short time. The novel tried to be feminist by showing us how strong and independent Haya becomes at the end of the novel, which is great, but reinforces the idea that girls who don’t cover up properly and have secret boyfriends are behaya while the boys go scot free no matter what they do. Oct 19, AK rated it it was amazing. Ya uske “aanson ka phanda” halaq mai lag ke woh marr nahi gayi. So what did she do?
Nov 06, Hina Tabassum rated it it was ok. And then these girls have their stories. Not in bits and pieces. When I can’t decide what I should read, I open this. Pathay, our writer Nimra Ahmed wanted to include everything cheesy and romantic in this obnoxious storyline, but she also wanted to do it the ‘halal’ way, get it?
Jannat Ke Pattay XIV By Nimra Ahmed
Oct 19, AK rated it it was amazing. Thanks to our beloved Superhuman hero who saved our heroine once again by quickly replacing the content of that video with his own edited version. I have read ‘A Case of Exploding Mangoes’ by Hanif Muhammed and feel that it was master piece as compared to this novel.
The protagonists actually had a conversation despite many urdu novels in which they only stare at each other with “kan akhiyon”.
Nimra Ahmed made Haya go through a ‘spiritual reform’ without having any spirituality induced in her personality. Will Haya be able to get that video removed from the internet? A highly recommended novel Now that I have vented it out of my system, I can rest.
Yet, I find it new every time I read oattay.
Haya suleman bharay gul tum sy bht pyar noel hy. There are times when girls do get in trouble and they should take their family in confidence esp.
Jannat Kay Pattay / جنت کے پتے
Hot air balloon ride What a wastage of time! In the recent years, when we are seeing much religion-related stuff in print and electronic media, whenever a protagonist is novdl with strokes of Deen, writer is most of the times not always hung between story and religion, and as a result, one or more aspects of religious sanctions are ignored. Best of all, I like how her lead couple interact with each other.
Won’t recommend it to even enemy!! Its an awesome book!! I felt veryyyyy irritated with their miscommunication on purpose: At one point I started thinking why didn’t the writer made Haya as Jehaan.
I am comparing both novels because the main protagonists of both stories had the army background with their fathers being labelled as traitors. I can debate so many points from this book. I patgay people like her. The girl I liked most in the novel was not Haya, its DJ. This story is so close to my soul in all aspects. Plot partay so unrealistic that it made me feel a bit better about Dan Brown’s books.
Jannat Kay Pattay / جنت کے پتے by Nemrah Ahmed
However, the novel becomes too preachy at one point and it felt rather sexist to continue a page narrative on that age old good girl vs. He put her through so much just because she had a stupid phone call with her friend in the beginning of the chapter. Just because they have some common elements in their writing style does not mean she is trying to COPY Umerah. I am still a big fan. Turkish language, their trends and traditions were worth reading.
I think I enjoyed Haya a lot, DJ was an amazing character that broke my heart and who reminded me of a real life friend that I was separated from. The fact that Jehan, Major Ahmad and Dolly and Pasha were the same person destroyed the story for me. A great great story i have never ever written such a long long review before i want to write more but i have to finished this i read this novel all the time even i stayed awake for this just to finish it.
Refresh and try again.
I was just i an incredible book with all the necessary juices that require a book to be a hit. Jannat Kay Pattay is every that thing you use to cover yourself up in the time of embarrassment, to use as a mode or tool to gain respect again. This book has moved me in ways no other could with Jehan’s character. I thoroughly enjoyed myself however I would be a hypocrite to say that I didn’t think of Umera Ahmed while reading this which is really unfair to Nimra.
Although the plot resembles a motley of a lot of books. But jannat ke patty has a little bit of everyting.
