Yes — and you can take drinks into the cinema in plastic glasses. Young, friendly, English- and Hebrew-speaking. Parking nearby is difficult. Smadar itself doesn’t run events, but you can hire the cinema if you want to organise your own. Two or three alternating pictures run for weeks on end. There’s little indication that it’s a cinema. Smadar is not just a cinema but also a cafe and licensed bar.
