Each and every time these words appeared on paper I got so irritated I wanted to slap someone! Haya’s one dialogue Jahanum ma jao reminded of my best friend. I just can’t bring myself to treat nikah between children of less than a year and an 8-year-old as valid and legal. A bit of Dan Brown mojo. I just went back and just thought about myself i also found something which always reminded me of her. It gives an important message through his character that we should never give up and no matter what happens have faith in Allah Almighty and that everything will turn out to be fine. Bharay gul achi larkiya asay bahir nae nikalti hain.
I know that Haya’s character was also very important because most of the story is written considering her point of view. I just can’t bring myself to treat nikah between children of less than a year and an 8-year-old as valid and legal. First of all this writer is smitten with Turkey in every way, and it is more than obvious. Jannat Kay Pattay is every that thing you use to cover yourself up in the time of embarrassment, to use as a mode or tool to gain respect again. In fact it is already destroyed. D This was beyond tacky. Was she trying to turn her story into some sort of magic realism or fantasy? To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up.
I really didnt even study my any test with that much attention with how pathay i attentively and get indulged in this story. I am feeling sorry to type this but Nimra Ahmed used Islam as a tool to rope in the Pakistani naive audience who have a soft corner for the amalgam of religion and romance.
Jannat Kay Pattay / جنت کے پتے
I remember reading about a girl who was repeatedly raped by a guy for years because he blackmailed her with some comprising pictures and she was too afraid to tell her family. A bit of Dan Brown mojo. Want to Read saving…. Taimur, Baharay Gul; – An out of this world sareela khandaan even by desi standards! Haalim by Nimra Ahmed-Complete Episodes. Aur khulay lambay kaalay baal. Books by Nemrah Ahmed. I have heard so many good things about this novel but it was such a bakwass story with so many loopholes that I was literally irritated.
Patriarchy is evident in this book that nobody cares that the hero continues humiliating the heroine as it is covered in pulling her leg but I strongly disagree. This book also has the most typical villain called Waleed who tries to force himself on the beautiful heroine before she is saved by the hero because this is what every villain does.
There were some minor things that did bother me a bit. I do think that the novel was npvel than it was meant to be, but the plot was awesome!
Abdul rehman ma tmhy pasand krti hun lkn ma tmhari dost ko pasand krta hun. So how is it that Haya wasn’t even a year old when she was married off to Jihan?

Oh boy, here it goes He was a total idiot. I’m not going to compare her with Umera Ahmed or any other writer to kill novrl individuality. The way hero was shown playing three characters of Dolly, Major and Pasha simultaneoulsy cracked my common sense.
The ending was perfect. I mean how can this be? I take Hijab as well but the nnovel it portrays the judgemental views of main protagonist is pathetic really and far too away from Islam.

Jannat Ke Pattay XII By Nimra Ahmed
A very weird image of Islam was portrayed in this novel. I thought that both Islamic Law and Pakistani Law demanded that the girl and boy in age should be mature in both physical and mental sense.
However While I liked the book overall, there were moments where it ajnnat me and I skipped lines to finish quickly. I love how the story continues smoothly with all those mysterious people making us wonder why in the world all these people are following Haya making her life more miserable BUT in the end the truth is worth all these thoughts, and feelings.
