Speaking of accuracy, not unlike using a pedometer or activity tracker to measure approximately how many steps you take in a day, an altimeter watch is a great gauge for elevation.

I wear it every day without noticing its weight or size. Never had an issue. And both fall short of the newer Fenix 5X with its intuitive operation and detailed mapping. I where it just about every day. Only downside of band is the clasp side is very short so on a large wrist it sits on the side pulling slightly. The thermometer is okay but you have to remove the watch and let it sit for several minutes to get a decent reading.

I live at feet plus and pav-240 stays reading perfectly. However, battery life has been cimpass within this technology, and the watches will last significantly longer when not in GPS mode.
