Did you get that Brandon? There are certainly many books that are fun to read and interesting and this one is up there with some of the best of those in my opinion, but what elevates it most in my view is that is does so in a way that teaches youth and adults alike that we can be better than what we are. This one struck me as different—not necessarily worse, or bad, just different than I expected, especially in the beginning and end of the book.


I was waiting only a month or so for this book to byonders out. Anyway, this book is sloooooooow. Based on 2 reviews. This book is over pages. I have been blown away by the fantastic world Brandon mull has created. As with the other 2 books this one is well written and thought out. There’s also talk about the plague from Book 2, characters tortured in the past — King Galloran is given someone else’s eyes as part of the torture and Rachel is threatened with the same.
